Shalamar Hospital Approved as a Center for MRCOG Part 3 Examinations

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Shalamar Hospital has been officially approved as a Center for the MRCOG Part 3 examinations in Pakistan. This prestigious recognition underscores our commitment to excellence in medical education and training, marking a significant milestone for our institution.   The MRCOG Part 3 examination, a crucial step for obstetricians and gynecologists aspiring to become members of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, will now be hosted at our state-of-the-art facilities. In addition to the approval of the examination facilities, Mother and Child Health Department at Shalamar Hospital also facilitated the approval of 33 examiners from Pakistan to conduct the MRCOG examination in Pakistan and abroad.   We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Mother and Child Health Department and the entire team at Shalamar Hospital, whose dedication and hard work have made this achievement possible.

One Day Regional Symposium and Fistula Repair Camp

Shalamar Hospital, in collaboration with the International Urogynecology Association, Pakistan National Forum on Women’s Health,the Fistula Foundation, and the Pakistan Urogynaecology Association, is set to host a One-Day Regional Symposium and Fistula Repair Camp on September 27, 2024, starting at 8:00 AM. This event will take place at the Shalamar Hospital in Lahore.   The symposium aims to bring together healthcare professionals from various disciplines to address the issues surrounding obstetrical and iatrogenic fistulae. One of the main features of the event will be the live transmission of surgeries conducted on patients with these conditions. The live demonstrations are designed to educate and train medical professionals on the latest techniques and approaches to fistula repair.   This symposium is a significant step towards enhancing the quality of care for women suffering from fistulae in Pakistan.” “By collaborating with leading organizations and specialists, we hope to provide comprehensive treatment and support for these patients.

Visit of RCOG Delegates for Conducting MRCOG3 Examination in Pakistan

We are delighted to announce the visit of the delegation from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RCOG) to Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences for conducting MRCOG3 Examination. A Grand Celebration of Academic Achievement

Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences Gears Up for 2nd Integral Convocation: “A Grand Celebration of Academic Achievement”.Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) eagerly anticipates the 2nd Integral Convocation, scheduled for December 2nd, 2023. The event promises to be a momentous occasion, marking the culmination of hard work, dedication, and academic excellence.This year’s convocation will be particularly special as a total of 315 graduates will be conferred with degrees across various disciplines. Shalamar Medical Dental College leads the way with 147 graduates, followed by 78 graduates from Shalamar Nursing College and 90 graduates from Shalamar School of Allied Health Sciences. The convocation ceremony will not only honor the academic achievements of these students but also showcase the commitment of SIHS to producing professionals who will contribute significantly to the field of healthcare. The event will feature distinguished guests, faculty members, and keynote speaker Dr. Muhammad Sabieh Anwar from LUMS Syed Baber Ali School of Science and Engineering, who will impart wisdom and inspiration to the graduating class. We are immensely proud of the accomplishments of our graduating students. Free Telemedicine Service

Lahore, April 06, 2020: Shalamar Hospital has launched a free online telemedicine service to offer medical advice to patients during the current lock down caused by COVID-19. Senior consultants of Shalamar Hospital will give free professional advice to patients through Skype.   This service has been launched to help people receive medical advice at their homes, as due to the current lock down situation they are facing difficulties in going out of their homes. Shalamar Hospital is contributing to the society through this free of cost initiative whereby anyone can visit the dedicated page of telemedicine on the website of Shalamar Hospital for medical advice.   Senior consultants of Shalamar Hospital from the department of Medicine, Gynaecology, Cardiology, Surgery and Paediatrics will offer instant medical advice to patients. The service is available everyday except Sunday from 9 am – 2 pm.   According to Col.
