The Business Planning & Development (BP&D) Department is the core unit of Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) and provides support to Shalamar Hospital, Shalamar Medical and Dental College (SMDC), Shalamar Nursing College (SNC) and Shalamar School of Allied Health Sciences (SSAHS).
The BP&D Department is involved in marketing activities, raising awareness of health-related issues through TV and radio programmes and executing various campaigns that help to sensitize the masses on how SIHS is contributing to better healthcare in Pakistan.
An exclusive radio show ‘Health Talk with Shalamar Hospital’ is organized every week on Monday and Thursday at FM 98.6. The radio show is aired at 5 pm, aimed to raise awareness of health-related issues among the masses.

The Volunteer Program offers a great opportunity for students and professionals to join hands with Shalamar Hospital and contribute towards the promotion of better healthcare in Pakistan.
Students from various disciplines and professionals from the corporate sector can volunteer their services at Shalamar Hospital and benefit the institution by contributing through their expertise in respective disciplines.
